Both Jos Solberg’s paintings and his brother Theo’s photography revolve around the ‘landscape’ in this instance\, and the synthesis is finished off by violinist Petra Herič’s chosen music. \nMountain ranges\, valleys\, plains\, trees\, forests\, rivers\, and other water features are common subjects in landscape paintings and photographs.\nAlmost without exception\, the sky and weather play a role in the final product. It becomes clear that music can likewise portray the environment when we consider the famous “seasons” of Vivaldi.\nTone\, colour\, and coherence are features of music that are analogous to those of landscapes. An aural “landscape” can frequently conjure mental “pictures” in those who hear it.
